OWNER & EXECUTIVE CHEF,  CHEF NEILL HOWELL
Chef Neill was born in England. His father's career in the army moved the family quite often, taking them not only to Northern Ireland (his mother's native country), but also Hong Kong and Brunei. After catering college, Neill worked to refine his chef skills through his employment in London, New York City, Los Angeles and now Baltimore. Neill's vast London experience in restaurants such as Langan’s Brasserie, Asia De Cuba, Hush, Home House and The Grove Hotel earned him a job in the United States. Prior to his Executive Chef role here in Baltimore at Bond Street Social, he served as Executive Chef for 4 years at one of New York City's most popular dining establishments of it's time  - The Stanton Social in the Lower East Side. It was the exclusive Soho House New York that orginally brought him stateside. There he catered to a celebrity clientele at the New York location and in Los Angeles during Oscar Events. It his also where he met his wife and co-owner, Emily.

Since opening The Corner Pantry, Neill has been able to truly discover who he is as a chef - utilizing fresh, local ingredients while pulling inspiration from his life, work and travels around the globe.  He is a proud father of Annabelle (8) and Clive (4) and spends his time outside of the kitchen training in the pool or on the road for his other passion, triathalon competitions.

OWNER & CATERING DIRECTOR, EMILY HOWELL
Emily, a Baltimore native, moved to New York City upon graduation from University of Delaware with a BFA in Visual Communications. There, she worked for various companies before landing a role at the newly opened, British members club and hotel, Soho House - eventually becoming hotel reservations manager and taking part in in-house and off-site events. Having the opportunity to work on a 2 week Oscars event in Los Angeles was a huge learning experience that she still calls upon when operating events today. She is also grateful to have met Neill there - her partner in life and business. Emily left Soho House to pursue a career in graphic design, working for companies such as conde nast, vogue, sony, crunch fitness and yogaworks , plus, a range of private clients. Event design became a large part of her career and she knew that was a true passion.

Her favorite part of living in New York City was, of course, the restaurant scene. It was no accident she married a chef and it was a natural transition to start a food business with her husband. It gave her a chance to work on her favorite design project to date , the corner pantry logo, which was inspired by the couple's firstborn - their English Bulldog named Bessie.

In her spare time, Emily has taken up playing tennis. She loves spending time with her family, especially when it involves a new restaurant or dining experience. It brings her great joy when her children, Annabelle (8) and Clive (4) sit at an upscale restaurant and push the "kids menu" to the side.
